My Journey to Healing and Strength
For 17 years, I dedicated my life to helping women feel strong and confident in their bodies. But it wasn’t until my third pregnancy that I truly understood the critical importance of a strong, high-functioning pelvic floor. During that pregnancy, I developed severe pelvic organ prolapse — stage 3 rectocele and stage 2 cystocele. The symptoms were so intense that simple daily tasks like picking up my two-year-old or standing to do the dishes caused unbearable pain. Despite seeking support from my OB, three midwives, and three pelvic floor physical therapists, I was told nothing could be done until I was 6-8 weeks postpartum. I felt devastated, defeated, and alone.
But the trainer in me knew that the pelvic floor is made of muscle — and muscle can be trained at any age and in any season of life. Determined to heal, I immersed myself in research, learning every skill and technique I could find to strengthen my core and pelvic floor. I refused to accept a life of pain, incontinence, and sitting on the sidelines. And after nine months of focused effort postpartum, I did it. I reduced my prolapse grades to a 1 with almost zero symptoms. I could run, jump, sneeze, and embrace daily life without pain or leaks. Through this journey, I realized how much we rely on our core and pelvic floor — and how powerful our bodies become when we equip them with the right tools and training.
A Mission to Empower Women
After overcoming this challenge, I felt a deep calling to support other women in their pregnancy and postpartum journeys. Women shouldn’t have to tolerate pain, leaks, or the inability to fully engage in their lives. I wanted to create the community and resources I wished I had when I felt isolated and hopeless. Through education, support, and evidence-based training, I help women prevent and heal core and pelvic floor dysfunction — empowering them to reclaim their strength and vitality.
Sharing my knowledge and working with women going through similar struggles filled my heart and gave me a purpose beyond motherhood. It’s become my mission to show women they don’t have to settle for discomfort or dysfunction — and that healing and strength are always possible.
Proof That It’s Never Too Late
My fourth pregnancy was living proof of the power of this approach. Despite having pelvic organ prolapse, I experienced my most comfortable, active pregnancy and my easiest postpartum recovery yet. By implementing the strategies and practices I had developed, I showed that age, number of pregnancies, or past birth injuries don’t define your body’s potential.
You are never too old, it’s never too late, and your body is never broken — it’s always capable of healing. With the right foundation and progressive strength-building, you can meet the needs of your life and goals. And I’m here to help you do exactly that.
